Chery launches Fulwin T7 electric SUV in China

Chery has officially launched the Fulwin T7, a compact electric SUV, in the Chinese market. The vehicle is offered in three trim levels with prices starting at approximately 94,900 yuan (roughly 13,000 USD) following introductory discounts. All versions feature a 65.05 kWh LFP battery providing a CLTC-rated range of 600 kilometers and a single motor producing 239 horsepower.

The Fulwin T7 is the Chinese counterpart to the Lepas L6, a global model already launched in Thailand and South Africa, with plans for expansion into Europe, Southeast Asia, and other regions. Chery utilizes a “native global car” strategy, developing the model to meet international standards, including the 2026 E-NCAP five-star safety rating, and conducting over 6 million kilometers of global road testing.

To differentiate itself in a highly competitive market, Chery has introduced safety guarantees, including a policy to replace the vehicle if a battery thermal runaway occurs due to manufacturing defects. The top-tier model includes advanced features such as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8775 chip and Falcon 500 driver assistance technology.
