Chinese automaker Chery is promoting its new plug‑in hybrid SUVs across Europe. In Greece, the Tiggo 9 was highlighted for its luxury‑styled interior, a hybrid powertrain delivering fuel consumption of about 6.5 L/100 km and a claimed electric range that can exceed 1,000 km on a single charge. The vehicle is positioned as a high‑end yet affordable option for long‑distance travel.

In Poland, the Tiggo 8 PHEV was reviewed, emphasizing its 279 hp system output, up to 90 km of pure electric driving, seven‑seat layout and a suite of safety features including nine airbags. The model combines a plug‑in hybrid system with rapid DC charging (30‑80 % in roughly 20 minutes) and Vehicle‑to‑Load capability. Priced at 152,900‑164,900 zł, the Tiggo 8 aims to challenge established European SUVs by offering comparable equipment at a lower price point.
