Chery Q EV launch date announced in Pakistan
Chery Master Pakistan has announced that its new all-electric hatchback, the Chery Q, will officially debut at the Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS) 2026 on September 18. The company is expected to reveal official pricing and booking details during the event.
Positioned as an urban-focused vehicle for daily commuting, the Chery Q features a 42.7 kWh battery with a claimed driving range of up to 400 kilometers under the NEDC cycle. The vehicle includes a 15.6-inch 2.5K display, smartphone connectivity, and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) with 21 assistance functions. It also supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality.
Chery Master Pakistan aims to link the vehicle's adoption to the country's growing rooftop solar market. The company suggests that households with surplus solar electricity could significantly reduce transportation costs, noting that annual fuel costs for a conventional petrol vehicle traveling 20,000 kilometers could be approximately Rs. 488,000, whereas charging via solar power could potentially lower annual energy costs to around Rs. 30,000.
