Chery unveils Omoda 4 SUV at Valorant e-sports tournament
Chery has officially unveiled its new Omoda 4 compact SUV in Europe during the Valorant Champions Tour EMEA finals in Barcelona. By choosing a major e-sports tournament over a traditional auto show for its initial reveal, the brand aims to target a young, tech-savvy, and urban demographic.
The Omoda 4 features a 'Cyber Mecha' design language inspired by gaming aesthetics and robotics. The vehicle is available in both fully electric and Super Hybrid System (SHS) versions. The hybrid model is reported to produce 224 CV, reach a top speed of 179 km/h, and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7 seconds.
Omoda has established itself as the Global Principal Partner and Official Automobile Partner of the Valorant Champions Tour EMEA. Following its debut in the gaming arena, the model is scheduled for a more traditional presentation at the Turin Motor Show on September 11.
