Chess player Truong Ngoc Tra My enrolls in medical school

Truong Ngoc Tra My, a chess player with multiple gold medals from the Central - Central Highlands Open Chess Championships, has enrolled as a General Medicine student at Duy Tan University.

Throughout her 12 years of schooling, Tra My maintained a record of academic excellence. She credits her experience in competitive chess for developing the focus, patience, and resilience necessary for her future career as a doctor. Her recent achievements include a gold medal in the U16 women's blitz team category and several silver and bronze medals in various regional competitions in 2024.
