Chest Wall Innovations launches PC Fix Rib Fixation System

Chest Wall Innovations, Inc. has announced the commercial launch of its PC Fix Rib Fixation System. Following FDA 510(k) clearance in April 2026, the system has already been utilized in multiple procedures at hospitals across the United States.

The PC Fix system is available in both titanium and PEEK (polyether ether ketone), allowing surgeons to utilize either an intrathoracic or extrathoracic approach. It is noted as the first and only intrathoracic PEEK rib fixation system currently available.

Surgical stabilization of rib fractures (SSRF) is becoming a standard of care for specific patients, guided by the American College of Surgeons’ 2025 Best Practices Guidelines. CEO Ken Kremer stated that surgeon feedback has been positive regarding the system’s simplicity and ease of use.
