Chet Hanks discusses friendship with Daejon Love

Chet Hanks has shared details regarding his past friendship with Daejon Love, who is currently facing federal wire fraud and conspiracy charges. According to Hanks, the two were high school friends and played football together, with Love serving as a wide receiver and Hanks playing free safety.

Hanks described their time in Los Angeles, noting they attended parties in Bel-Air and worked as cabana boys. He claimed that during this period, they both dated wealthy older women, which resulted in them receiving luxury vehicles, including a Range Rover for Hanks and a G-Wagon for Love.

While Hanks expressed that he might have had some influence on the direction Love took in life, he noted that they have not spoken in years. Federal prosecutors allege that Love posed as a San Francisco 49ers player to defraud 26 women of approximately $1.3 million. Love and an alleged 18-year-old accomplice are facing charges in Oregon.
