Cheteshwar Pujara selects all-time India teammates XI

Former Indian batter Cheteshwar Pujara has selected his ideal playing XI consisting exclusively of players he played alongside during his international career. The selection, made following the 2026 Test series in Sri Lanka, notably excludes several prominent figures including MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, and Ajinkya Rahane.

Pujara chose Rahul Dravid and Virender Sehwag to open the innings, with himself positioned at number three. The middle order features Sachin Tendulkar at number four and Virat Kohli at number five, followed by VVS Laxman at six and Rishabh Pant at seven.

The bowling attack includes the spin duo of Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin, supported by a pace attack of Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, and Ishant Sharma.
