Chetham's School of Music celebrates 2026 A-Level results

Chetham's School of Music has announced its A-Level results for the 2026 cohort, highlighting high academic performance alongside musical training. The school reported a 99.5% overall A-Level pass rate, significantly exceeding the national average.

Key academic statistics include 61% of students achieving A*-B grades and 12% receiving all A or A* grades. Specific subject successes were noted in History, Mathematics, Biology, and German. In addition to academic studies, students achieved musical milestones, including four AMusTCL diplomas and one LMusTCL diploma.

Many graduates have secured placements at prestigious music conservatoires, with 17 students receiving scholarships. Other students will pursue diverse fields such as War Studies, Psychology, Chemical Engineering, and International Relations.
