Chevening Scholarships applications open for Vietnam and Nigeria

The UK Government opened the application portal for its flagship Chevening Scholarship on 4 August, with the deadline set for 6 October. The fully funded one‑year master’s programme is available to eligible professionals, including Vietnamese citizens and Nigerian applicants, who hold a bachelor's degree, have at least two years of work experience, and commit to returning home after study. Successful scholars receive tuition fees, a monthly living allowance, travel costs and access to a global alumni network.

The programme, administered by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office and partner organisations, seeks candidates with demonstrated leadership potential and a commitment to sustainable development. It aims to strengthen ties between the United Kingdom and participating countries by building a diverse community of future leaders.
