Chevrolet Camaro slated for 2029 four‑door revival

Rumors reported by GM Authority indicate that Chevrolet plans to bring back the Camaro as a four‑door sedan for the 2029 model year, pushing the expected launch back from an earlier 2028 target. The new Camaro would retain rear‑wheel drive, a manual transmission option, and could be offered with a high‑performance V‑8 engine alongside other powertrain choices.

Production is expected to take place at General Motors' Lansing Grand River Assembly plant in Michigan, positioning the revived model against rivals such as the Ford Mustang and Dodge Charger. Chevrolet and GM have not issued an official confirmation of the model year, design details, pricing, or a launch date.
