Chevrolet Corvette classic car projects listed for sale

Several classic Chevrolet Corvette project cars are currently available for sale, offering opportunities for enthusiasts to undertake extensive restorations.

A 1972 C3 Corvette is listed on eBay in Reisterstown, Maryland, for $6,500. While the vehicle is partially dismantled and missing its hood, the seller states it is structurally sound with a solid frame and birdcage. The car retains its numbers-matching drivetrain, featuring a 350ci V8 engine paired with a four-speed manual transmission, power steering, and power brakes.

Additionally, a 1966 C2 Corvette convertible is being offered at no reserve on Bring a Trailer. The vehicle has faced significant challenges, including an accident in the mid-1980s, decades of neglect, and severe rust from long-term storage in a damp environment. Although the engine is non-functional and the brakes were frozen, the car originally featured Trophy Blue paint and a black leather interior.
