Chevrolet introduces dealer-installed off-road package for Colorado ZR2

Chevrolet is reintroducing the ‘Colorado Desert Boss’ as a dealer-installed package for the 2027 Colorado ZR2. This modular upgrade allows buyers to add specific off-road hardware and styling without requiring a full factory trim redesign.

The package includes Multimatic Jounce Control Dampers, a specialized front bumper, enhanced lighting, and ‘Tech Bronze’ recovery hooks. Additional aesthetic elements feature door sill plates and a front-fender decal package. By offering this as a dealer-installed option rather than a factory-prepped version, Chevrolet provides a flexible way to cater to niche enthusiast segments while maintaining the existing Colorado lineup structure.
