Chevrolet launches Sonic SUV in Argentina with pricing and financing options

General Motors introduced the Chevrolet Sonic compact SUV to the Argentine market at the start of the month. The model, built on the GEM platform and powered by a 1.0‑litre turbo Ecotec engine, is now sold in two trims – Premier (ARS 38,390,900) and RS (ARS 39,690,900) – and is available at all official Chevrolet dealers.

Launch events included a ceremony at Collins Automotores in Buenos Aires, where customers could test‑drive the vehicle, attend a raffle and view the car’s features such as full‑LED lighting, advanced driver‑assist systems, six airbags and an 84‑installment savings plan. Financing options include zero‑percent interest for 12, 18 or 24 months with credit limits up to ARS 28 million, and a “Plan Sonic” savings scheme offering 100 % financing over 84 installments with the possibility of early adjudication.

The Sonic is positioned to compete with other B‑segment SUVs such as the Volkswagen T‑Roc, Fiat Pulse and Renault Kardian, offering a lower price point and a suite of connectivity services including OnStar, Wi‑Fi and the MyChevrolet app.
