Chevrolet returns pink Corvette pace car to NASCAR for breast cancer fundraiser

Chevrolet is renewing its 16-year partnership with the American Cancer Society for the ‘Making Strides Against Breast Cancer’ initiative. As part of the campaign, a pink C8 Corvette Stingray will return as the pace car for NASCAR Cup Series races at Talladega Superspeedway and Martinsville Speedway.

The 2026 fundraising program includes several donation structures. Chevrolet will donate $1,500 (up to $25,000) for each Team Chevy driver who achieves a top-10 finish at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Charlotte Motor Speedway, Phoenix Raceway, Talladega Superspeedway, and Martinsville Speedway. Additionally, the company will contribute $500 for every caution lap led by the pink pace car during the races at Talladega and Martinsville, with a cap of $25,000.

Last year, the campaign raised over $1.7 million for the American Cancer Society, with the NASCAR-specific efforts contributing $32,500. The upcoming donation campaign is scheduled to begin on October 4th at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
