Chewy, Inc. raises full-year outlook following Q2 sales growth

Chewy, Inc. reported its second quarter 2026 financial results, highlighting a 7.3 percent year-over-year increase in net sales to $3.33 billion. Despite the growth, the company's stock experienced a 7.5 percent decline on Wednesday, falling alongside other sector peers such as Tractor Supply Co. and Chewy's competitors, suggesting a broader market movement rather than company-specific issues.

Financial highlights for the quarter include a net income of $80.5 million and an adjusted EBITDA of $226.7 million, which represents a $43.4 million increase compared to the previous year. While net sales grew, the gross margin remained flat at 30.4 percent.

Based on the quarter's performance, CEO Sumit Singh stated that the company is raising its full-year 2026 revenue outlook. Chewy now expects annual net sales to fall between $13.46 billion and $13.57 billion.
