Chez Bernard French wine bar opens in Leith

Chez Bernard, a new French wine bar and bistro, has officially opened on the waterfront at The Shore in Leith. Founded by partners and wine experts Jonathan Heredia and Isla Mosquera, the venue serves as the first French wine bar in the area.

The establishment is a tribute to Heredia’s grandfather, Bernard, and is located near Bernard Street. The menu focuses on authentic French and seafood offerings, including artisanal cheeses, charcuterie, oysters, dressed crab, and salmon platters. The venue is designed to accommodate both traditional long lunches and evening wine service.
