Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai criticizes ‘Love Jihad’

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has characterized ‘Love Jihad’ as a ‘stain on our country’ during a book launch ceremony in Raipur. Speaking at the Guru Ghasidas Museum, Sai expressed concern regarding individuals allegedly concealing their identities or changing their names to establish romantic relationships with women and girls.

Sai stated that such actions create a ‘web of love’ that can lead to ruined lives once situations escalate. He introduced the book ‘Kohra’ as a tool to raise awareness and serve as a ‘guiding light’ for women and girls to help them remain vigilant against potential risks. The Chief Minister pledged to ensure the book reaches a wide audience to help protect women from falling prey to such deception.
