Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai discusses urban development and supports PM Modi

Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has emphasized the need for planned, inclusive, and sustainable urban development in the state to meet the needs of future decades. Speaking at a regional workshop on the Urban Challenge Fund (UCF) and Urban Invest Window in Nava Raipur, Sai stated that cities must serve as hubs for economic activity, industry, and innovation to support the vision of a 'Developed Chhattisgarh' aligned with the national goal of a 'Developed India' by 2047.

The workshop facilitated the signing of two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) between the Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO), the state's Urban Administration and Development Department, and Sept University. These agreements aim to strengthen the technical and institutional capacity of urban bodies in project planning and financial resource management.

In a separate political context, Chief Minister Sai expressed support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent statements, urging citizens to focus on reality rather than trivialities. He highlighted the Prime Minister’s track record of development and the trust placed in the NDA leadership by farmers, youth, and women.
