Chhattisgarh government transfers 45 police officers

The Chhattisgarh Home Department has implemented a significant administrative reshuffle within the state police force. As part of this restructuring, 45 officers from the State Police Service, including Additional Superintendents of Police (ASP) and Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSP), have been transferred to new positions across various districts, including Raipur.

Additionally, the government has terminated the deputations of 12 police personnel serving in the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) and the Economic Offences Wing (EOW). These personnel, who hold ranks such as Inspector, Sub-Inspector, and Assistant Sub-Inspector, have been ordered to return to their original police cadres and districts immediately.

Officials stated that these moves aim to strengthen law and order, improve administrative efficiency, and provide new opportunities to officers who had been stationed in the same locations for extended periods. The reshuffle is viewed as part of a strategy to enhance transparency and maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward corruption within the state.
