Chhattisgarh Minister Kedar Kashyap's convoy involved in vehicle accident

The convoy of Chhattisgarh Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap was involved in a vehicle accident near the Jagdalpur-Kondagaon border in Junwani. A speeding SUV, identified as a Scorpio, traveling from the opposite direction, struck the Minister's car. The SUV then lost control and collided with a vehicle following behind the convoy.

At least six people were injured in the collision, including four police officers, a female personal assistant to the Minister, and a driver. While the Minister himself was unhurt, the four police officers sustained serious injuries and were referred to Raipur for advanced medical treatment. The injured were initially taken to the Kondagaon district hospital.

Minister Kashyap confirmed the incident via social media, stating that he had visited the injured personnel at the hospital and instructed doctors to ensure they receive the best possible care.
