Chhattisgarh sees two brutal husband‑perpetrated killings in Dhamtari and Raigarh

In Dhamtari district, a married woman’s husband attacked her lover with an axe after learning of the affair. The victim was seriously injured and later died. Police detained the husband and have begun a formal investigation.

In Raigarh district, another husband assaulted his wife with a wooden strap during a domestic dispute, causing fatal injuries. He attempted to hide the body by covering it with a sack and discarding it in nearby bushes. Local police recovered the remains, identified the victim, and arrested the accused husband.

Both cases are being pursued by Chhattisgarh police, who have charged the accused under relevant homicide provisions.
