Chhattisgarh weather forecast predicts heavy rainfall and strong winds

Meteorological forecasts for Chhattisgarh indicate intensifying weather activity from October 28 to October 31. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected across several divisions, including Bastar, Raipur, Durg, Bilaspur, and Surguja.

In the Bastar division, southern districts may experience wind speeds of approximately 60 km/h on the evening of October 28, while northern districts could see speeds between 40 and 50 km/h. Heavy to very heavy rain is anticipated in Bastar on October 28 and 29.

On October 29, heavy rainfall is projected for the Raipur and Durg divisions, along with the eastern districts of the Bilaspur division. During this period, wind speeds in Dhamtari may reach 40 to 50 km/h, and Raipur may see speeds of 30 to 40 km/h. By October 30, the rainfall is expected to shift toward the western districts of Bilaspur and Surguja. On October 31, wind speeds in the Surguja division are forecasted to be between 15 and 20 km/h.
