Chhoto Kaku Festival to celebrate 15 years of detective series in Dhaka

The ‘Chhoto Kaku Festival 2026’ will be held on September 28 and 29 at the Aloki Convention Center on Tejgaon-Gulshan Link Road in Dhaka. The two-day event celebrates the 15th anniversary of the popular detective character ‘Chhoto Kaku’, created by children's author Faridur Reza Sagar and brought to television by Channel i.

The festival is open to children, families, and friends with no entry fee. Activities are scheduled daily from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and will include various competitions, prize distributions, discussions, and entertainment programs.

In conjunction with the festival, 14 new editions of the ‘Chhoto Kaku’ book series have been released by Onnoprokash, featuring 20 mysteries across 10 volumes, along with four translated books. Actor and filmmaker Afzal Hossain, who portrays the titular character on screen, also designed the book covers.
