Chi-Fuyo anime adaptation set for October 2026 release

A new trailer and visual have been released for the upcoming anime adaptation of ‘The Laid-Off Cheat-Granting Mage Enjoys a New Life’, also known as ‘Chi-Fuyo’. The series is scheduled to premiere in October 2026.

Produced by studio P. A. Works, the project is directed by Shuu Honma, with a screenplay by Youko Yonaiyama and character designs by Yuito Kiyosawa. The voice cast includes Daiki Yamashita as Rein Garland and Lynn as Lily Flamebell.

Based on the light novel series by Asa Rokushima, the story follows Rein, a mage who specializes in enchanting equipment. After being expelled from his guild, Rein recovers his invested mana and channels it into a copper sword, significantly enhancing its power as he begins a new adventure.
