Chi Pu expands career from modeling to music and acting

Vietnamese artist Chi Pu has built a diverse career spanning over 15 years, expanding from her beginnings as a popular teen model in Hanoi to a recognized figure in music, acting, and television.

After gaining initial fame in 2009, she transitioned into singing in 2017. Despite early debates regarding her live vocal abilities, she has achieved significant success with hits such as ‘Anh Oi O Lai’, which utilized traditional Vietnamese cultural elements and reached the top of YouTube trending charts. Her career has also seen expansion into the Chinese market, notably through her participation in the program ‘Sisters Who Make Waves 2023’ (the Chinese version).
