Chi Pu joins cast of Chi chi Em em 3

Vietnamese actress Chi Pu has been officially announced as one of the female leads in the upcoming film “Chi chi Em em 3”. This marks her return to the “Chi chi Em em” cinematic universe seven years after the first installment was released in 2019.

Chi Pu will portray the character Thị Nương, a role she described as having many similarities to herself and featuring her most beautiful visual styling to date. The character is expected to present a different tone from previous characters in the franchise, appearing with a graceful and playful demeanor. Early promotional images show the character in traditional “áo tứ thân” within a cultural setting inspired by Bắc Ninh.

The project also marks Chi Pu’s return to the big screen following a period focused on music and business. She will reunite with producer Will Vu, who expressed long-standing interest in working with her again, noting that her charm and unpredictable nature make her a perfect fit for the role.
