Vietnamese pop star Chi Pu revealed on TikTok that she applies a high‑end facial mask costing more than 1 million Vietnamese dong per sheet as part of her pre‑makeup routine. She combines the mask with exercise, steam sessions and thorough cleansing to enlarge pores and improve absorption, then locks in moisture before applying foundation. The next morning she repeats the process with a less expensive mask and lightly rinses a thin layer of serum to prevent the foundation from sliding.

Chi Pu explained that excessive residual serum can cause makeup to slip or fade quickly, so she balances hydration and product load to achieve a smooth, long‑lasting base for her signature flawless looks.
