Chiapas Governor Eduardo Ramírez survives helicopter emergency landing

The Governor of Chiapas, Eduardo Ramírez Aguilar, and members of his cabinet were involved in an emergency helicopter maneuver while traveling to the municipality of Pantepec on Friday, August 28.

Ramírez Aguilar reported that the flight crew was forced to change direction and perform an emergency landing due to low visibility and a flock of birds crossing the aircraft's path. The governor, who was accompanied by officials from the Infrastructure, Social Communication, and Citizen Attention departments, praised the pilots for their professionalism and skill in preventing a more serious accident.

The incident occurred as the governor was traveling to the northern region of the state to oversee infrastructure projects, including the delivery of classrooms and potable water.
