Chiara Consonni extends Canyon SRAM contract through 2028

Italian cyclist Chiara Consonni has signed a contract extension with the Canyon SRAM women's cycling team, committing to the squad through the end of the 2028 season.

Consonni, a prominent sprinter, joined Canyon SRAM in 2025. Her recent successes include winning the Philadelphia Cycling Classic and securing stage victories at the Tour de Pologne and the Vuelta. Team director Rolf Aldag noted her positive influence on team morale and her competitive speed, stating the team aims to further develop her lead-out capabilities.

Consonni expressed her decision to stay by citing the strong relationships within the team and the support of colleagues who believe in her performance.
