Chiara Ferragni safe in Peru after magnitude 6.7 earthquake

Italian influencer Chiara Ferragni and her partner, Colombian entrepreneur José Hernandez, are traveling through Peru. During their trip, a magnitude 6.7 earthquake struck the Ayacucho region, with the epicenter located approximately 38 kilometers northwest of Upahuacho.

While the tremors were felt in Lima where Ferragni is staying, she reassured followers via Instagram that she and Hernandez are safe and were not in the affected zone. The earthquake caused significant damage to homes and resulted in some injuries, though authorities reported no fatalities at the time of the report.

The couple has been documenting their travels, which include visiting Paracas to see marine life and staying in a specialized lodge within the Amazon rainforest featuring open-air accommodations.
