Chiari launches 48th Palio delle Quadre festivities

The 48th Palio delle Quadre has officially commenced in Chiari, marking the start of the 2026/2027 sporting year. The inauguration took place in Piazza Zanardelli, bringing together local athletes, sports clubs, and community members to celebrate regional traditions and sporting values.

The week-long festivities include a variety of community-focused events and competitions. To encourage local participation, the 'Vetrine di Chiari' contest has returned, inviting city businesses to decorate their storefronts in the spirit of the Palio. Three prizes will be awarded to the most original displays.
