Chiba Prefectural Police partner with Urban Myth Dissolution Center
Shueisha Games has announced a collaboration between the game ‘Urban Myth Dissolution Center’ and the Chiba Prefectural Police. This initiative marks the first collaboration with a government agency and aims to raise awareness regarding the spread of false and misleading information on the internet.
To commemorate the partnership, limited-edition clear files featuring custom designs by Hakababunko director Hafu Hafu Oden will be distributed at the police booth during Tokyo Game Show 2026. The event will take place at Makuhari Messe from September 19 to September 21, 2026, with 400 files available per day on a first-come, first-served basis. The designs include the Chiba Prefectural Police mascot, ‘Seepock,’ in various poses.
In addition to the giveaway, the police booth will feature digital signage displaying a collaborative video intended to educate the public about online misinformation. Further details regarding additional projects and the promotional video will be released at a later date via Shueisha Games' official channels.
