Chibi Maruko-chan celebrates 40th anniversary with special lottery merchandise

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the original Chibi Maruko-chan manga serialization, a special Happy Kuji lottery collection will be released on November 7, 2026. The collection features a variety of items ranging from high-end figures to daily lifestyle goods.

Key prizes include a special prize featuring a figure of ‘Maruko’s Room’ modeled after a scene from the 10th chapter, and a last prize consisting of a figure recreating the cover of the first manga volume. Other tiers include a figure collection of various characters, tote bags, tableware, rubber mascot keychains, flat pouches, mini towels, tin collections, and sticker sets.

The lottery will be available at various retailers, including Seven-Eleven (select stores), Ito-Yokado, Youme Town, Lawson, Lawson 100, Ministop, bookstores, hobby shops, and the Happy Kuji online store. Each draw is priced at 850 yen (including tax).
