Chicago Bears defeat Seattle Seahawks 34-17 in Monday Night Football

The Chicago Bears secured a decisive 34-17 victory over the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field. Quarterback Caleb Williams led the offense with high efficiency, completing 71 percent of his passes for 247 yards and one touchdown. Running back D’Andre Swift provided the offensive surge, scoring three rushing touchdowns.

Defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons made an immediate impact in his Bears debut following a recent trade from the Tennessee Titans. Simmons recorded six tackles, a sack, and a tackle for loss, helping to hold the Seahawks to 252 total yards. The win improves the Bears to a 6-2 record, while the Seahawks fall to 4-4.

Seattle’s offense struggled throughout the contest, managing only one touchdown via a 43-yard pass from Sam Darnold to Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Despite a fourth-quarter attempt to close the gap, the Seahawks were unable to overcome Chicago’s momentum.
