Chicago Bears coaches share lighthearted moment during interview

Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson recently made a lighthearted appearance during an interview with wide receivers coach and assistant head coach Antwaan Randle El on ESPN Chicago’s ‘Waddle & Silvy’. The interaction highlighted the positive atmosphere within the team following a 34-10 preseason victory over the Cleveland Browns.

Johnson and Randle El previously worked together in Detroit, where Johnson served as offensive coordinator. Johnson praised Randle El’s coaching abilities, noting that while he knew him as a ‘phenomenal football player’, he quickly realized his potential as a coach.

During the first preseason game, Randle El was given the opportunity to call plays in the second half. Johnson credited the improved offensive execution in the latter half of the game to Randle El’s play-calling.
