Chicago Bears featured in new Hallmark Christmas movie

The Hallmark Channel is releasing ‘Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story’, the latest installment in its NFL-themed holiday movie franchise. Following previous films centered on the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills, this production was filmed in and around Chicago to highlight the city's football culture.

The film stars Lyndsy Fonseca as Avery, a freelance journalist visiting Chicago, and Robert Buckley as Matt, a firefighter. The plot follows Avery as she is assigned to profile a dedicated Chicago Bears fan, leading to a romance despite her lack of interest in football. The production also features actress Marsha Mason.

Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson commented on the film during a news conference, expressing respect for the actors and the director's work. While he did not attend the advance screening, he noted the professionalism displayed by the cast.
