Chicago Bears running back Kyle Monangai to miss Seahawks game

Chicago Bears running back Kyle Monangai will miss Monday Night Football against the Seattle Seahawks due to a turf toe injury. This marks the fourth consecutive game the second-year player has missed.

Bears coach Ben Johnson confirmed Monangai is out after the player failed to participate in practice this week. While Monangai has not been placed on injured reserve, Johnson noted that the toe injury is more significant than initially anticipated. Monangai has not played since October 4, when he suffered thumb and toe injuries during a game against the New York Jets.

The absence leaves the Bears without a key ground producer as they face a Seahawks defense that recently limited the league’s leading rusher. There is currently no official timeline for Monangai’s return.
