Chicago Bears sign QB Miller Moss and elevate WR Kaden Davis

The Chicago Bears have signed quarterback Miller Moss to their practice squad and elevated him for Sunday’s game. The move comes as starting quarterback Tyson Bagent deals with a back injury. Bagent, who was listed as questionable on Friday after missing practice throughout the week, is managing the injury after previously dealing with a hamstring issue during the preseason.

If Bagent is unable to play, the Bears may rely on veteran third-string quarterback Case Keenum. In that scenario, Moss would serve as the third quarterback.

Additionally, the Bears have promoted wide receiver Kaden Davis from the practice squad for Week 1. To facilitate these roster changes, the team released safety Keidron Smith from the practice squad.
