D'Andre Swift Chicago Bears NFL extension running back contract

The Chicago Bears have agreed to a three-year, $33.75 million extension with running back D'Andre Swift. The deal includes $27.5 million in guaranteed money, making Swift the 14th highest-paid running back in the NFL.

Swift, 27, previously played for the Detroit Lions before being traded to the Philadelphia Eagles and subsequently signing with the Bears in March 2024. During the 2025 season, Swift recorded 1,087 rushing yards and nine touchdowns on 223 attempts, along with 299 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Bears General Manager Ryan Poles previously indicated that an extension for Swift was a priority, noting the player’s strong work ethic and performance within the team’s system.
