Chicago Blackhawks consider one‑day contract to honour Jonathan Toews

Toews, a three‑time Stanley Cup champion (2010, 2013, 2015) and former Blackhawks captain, is being discussed for a symbolic one‑day contract that would allow him to officially retire as a Blackhawk.

Blackhawks general manager Kyle Davidson said the team is exploring the idea but has not yet confirmed any concrete plans.
