Chicago Blackhawks defeat Winnipeg Jets 4-3 in overtime

The Chicago Blackhawks defeated the Winnipeg Jets 4-3 in overtime at the United Center. Artyom Levshunov secured the victory for Chicago by scoring on a feed from Connor Bedard during the extra period.

Connor Bedard opened the scoring with his first power-play goal of the season. Other Chicago scorers included Frank Nazar and Ryan Donato. Patrick Kane contributed two assists, reaching 895 career points and surpassing Phil Housley for the most points by an American-born player.

The Winnipeg Jets staged a comeback after trailing 3-1, with goals from Kyle Connor and Alex Iafallo. Despite a strong defensive performance in the second and third periods, the Jets' recurring struggle with first-period defense was highlighted, as they allowed three goals on 14 shots in the opening frame. The loss brings Chicago's record to 3-5-0 and Winnipeg's to 4-1-2.
