Vancouver Canucks sign goaltender Chris Driedger to PTO

The Vancouver Canucks have signed veteran goaltender Chris Driedger to a professional tryout contract for the 2026-27 preseason. The 32-year-old Winnipeg native brings NHL experience from previous stints with the Ottawa Senators, Florida Panthers, and Seattle Kraken.

Driedger most recently played for Traktor Chelyabinsk in the KHL. Throughout his career, he has maintained a .917 save percentage in 67 NHL regular-season games and has significant experience in the American Hockey League, where he has appeared in 217 games. He also earned a silver medal with Team Canada at the 2022 World Championship.

The Canucks are currently evaluating young talent and prospects as they prepare for training camp and the upcoming season.
