Chicago Bulls plot draft strategy and new head coach amid front‑office overhaul

The Chicago Bulls are undergoing a major restructuring after a losing season and the departure of head coach Billy Donovan. The team hired Bryson Graham as vice president of basketball operations, signalling a top‑down shift in personnel decisions.

With the No. 4 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, the Bulls are expected to select forward Caleb Wilson, a versatile player from North Carolina who fits Graham’s SLAP (size, length, athleticism, physicality) criteria. The club is also weighing trade‑up options and has evaluated other top‑10 prospects such as Keaton Wagler, Kingston Flemings, Nate Ament and Morez Johnson Jr.

Simultaneously, the Bulls have begun in‑person interviews with candidates for the vacant head‑coach job. Finalists include Timberwolves associate head coach Micah Nori, former NBA center and Paris Basketball head coach Tiago Splitter, Hawks assistant Ryan Schmidt, and Hawks assistant Wes Unseld Jr., who has been on the Chicago staff since 2024.
