Chicago Bulls rookie Caleb Wilson shines in 2026 NBA Summer League
Chicago Bulls' No. 4 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, 19‑year‑old Caleb Wilson, delivered a standout performance in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. Over four games he averaged 23.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.3 steals and 2.5 blocks, earning a spot on the league's First Team despite the Bulls winning only one of five games.
Wilson, a former University of North Carolina standout, said the experience was a "great learning experience" and added, "We’re going to win." He acknowledged a rough free‑throw shooting night (33.3 %) but remained optimistic about his development before the regular season begins. The Bulls, who have not posted a winning record since 2016‑17 and missed the postseason since 2021‑22, are hoping his impact will help reverse that trend.
