Chicago Bulls sign Jordan Hawkins to two-way contract

The Chicago Bulls have signed guard Jordan Hawkins to a two-way contract for the upcoming season. This move fills the team's final two-way roster spot, joining Jaylin Sellers and Tobe Awaka.

Hawkins, a former standout at UConn, was originally selected 14th overall in the 2023 NBA Draft by the New Orleans Pelicans. After three seasons with the Pelicans and a recent stint with the Memphis Grizzlies, he joins a rebuilding Bulls roster. Hawkins is recognized for his long-range shooting capabilities, though his NBA production has averaged approximately 8 points per game.

The signing follows a period of roster movement for Hawkins, who was recently part of a trade involving the Pelicans and Grizzlies. The Bulls' decision to absorb his contract provides them with a dynamic scoring option from the bench who can navigate between the NBA and the G-League.
