Chicago Bulls win first 2026 Summer League game over Washington Wizards

The Chicago Bulls earned their first victory of the 2026 NBA Summer League, defeating the Washington Wizards 99-87 on July 14. Rookie forward Caleb Wilson, the No. 4 overall pick, posted 19 points, eight rebounds, two assists and a block, including a buzzer‑beating three‑pointer that pushed Chicago ahead in the third quarter. Wilson shared on X, “First win as a bull… special shoutout to Jaylin Sellers and Donovan Atwell 🐂.”

Jaylin Sellers led the Bulls with 24 points, three assists, three steals and a block, while Donovan Atwell added 19 points off the bench. The Wizards played without No. 1 overall pick AJ Dybantsa, who was ruled out for the remainder of the Summer League, as well as guards Will Riley and Tre Johnson. Chris Livingston was Washington’s top scorer with 21 points. The Bulls will face the Los Angeles Lakers in their next game, and the Wizards will play the Los Angeles Clippers.
