Chicago Fire season 15 to feature major cast departures

The NBC drama ‘Chicago Fire’ will undergo significant changes in its upcoming 15th season, premiering October 7, 2026. The series is introducing a new showrunner, Victor Teran, who succeeds Andrea Newman.

Key cast departures include original series regular Joe Miñoso, who has played Joe Cruz since the first season, and Dermot Mulroney, who portrays Chief Dom Pascal. Mulroney is expected to depart shortly after the season begins, while Miñoso will exit after several episodes.

To fill these roles, the production is introducing new characters, including Marcus Burke, played by Da’Vinchi, to the main cast.
