Chicago Fire Season 15 to premiere October 7 on NBC

The NBC series ‘Chicago Fire’ is set to premiere its 15th season on October 7 with the episode titled ‘New Blood’. The new season introduces significant cast changes and follows the aftermath of a warehouse fire that concluded Season 14.

Notable departures include Joe Miñoso, who played Joe Cruz since the series began in 2012, and Dermot Mulroney, who will appear in only one episode as Chief Dom Pascal. Behind the scenes, longtime executive producer and showrunner Andrea Newman has also departed the series after 14 seasons.

The premiere will introduce a new group of probationary firefighters, including Marcus Burke, played by Da’Vinchi. Returning cast members include Taylor Kinney as Kelly Severide, Miranda Rae Mayo as Stella Kidd, and David Eigenberg as Christopher Herrmann. The season will be available for streaming on Peacock the day after its broadcast.
