Chicago prepares for diverse fall arts and festival season

Chicago is entering a busy fall season featuring a variety of cultural festivals, museum events, and theatrical productions.

September events include the Chicago Jazz Festival at Millennium Park, the Taste of Polonia at the Copernicus Center, and various festivals at the Lincoln Park Zoo. Other scheduled activities include the Englewood Jazz Festival, the Lakeview East Festival of the Arts, and the Chicago Gourmet.

In the theater community, WBEZ’s Theater Club is returning for a second season. The upcoming lineup includes the world premiere of ‘The Birth of the Pill’ at TimeLine Theatre, the Chicago premiere of ‘A Strange Loop’ at Raven Theatre, and productions at Northlight Theatre.
